Soapwort extract

The basis of washpaca has its origins in a plant.

It has been used and cultivated by humans since the Neolithic Age – the common soapwort. This herb is known for its natural and effective cleansing power, as it contains natural ingredients with a strong cleansing effect. Soapwort extract, obtained from the soapwort plant (Saponaria officinalis), has valuable properties that make it an ideal ingredient in detergents.

Soapwort extract contains natural saponins that have cleansing properties. These saponins dissolve dirt and stains gently and effectively.

Soapwort extract is an environmentally friendly alternative to synthetic surfactants and chemical detergents. It degrades easily and thus protects the environment.

washpaca was developed to gently care for and ideally preserve the ingenious properties of alpaca fiber. It is also suitable for cotton textiles and all other natural fibers, as the vegetable refatting agents it contains make the fabric beautifully soft and envelop the fibers.

Our washpaca mild detergent for alpaca fiber offers maximum flexibility and is suitable for both hand and machine washing. Simply use 10 ml per hand wash or 20 ml for a machine load of 2.5 kg, regardless of water hardness or washing temperature. Remember to follow the care instructions for your garment to achieve optimum results.
